Bullying, harassment, discrimination and violence all create or contribute to negative social environments and it is always harmful to some degree.  It can be overt, covert/hidden or online bullying and can involve victims, perpetrators and bystanders.  2016 marks the first year that Urangan SHS has registered as an NDA school, participating in the National Day of Action against bullying and violence.  To anonymously report bullying or someone who may be experiencing harm, go to www.stymie.com.  For more information about bullying, go to www.bullyingnoway.gov.au where there are resources and factsheets for students, parents and teachers.
