Last
Friday night, Year 12 student Keira Soares represented Urangan High at the
Creative Generation Excellence Awards in Visual Art held at Gataker’s Artspace
in Maryborough. Keira’s work, “Stretched Thin” was a visual representation of
feeling stressed or overwhelmed.
Keira’s work is on display with artworks by
students from across the Fraser Coast including our own Madolynne Fisher,
Claire Green and Imoen Law. If you’re in Maryborough between now and early
November, pop in for a look.
