Our International student orientation program is designed to help break down the school rules, student responsibility and expectations whilst here on the Education Queensland International, International Student Program. Following their enrolment agreement and VISA conditions. Orientation commences on the first day of school and carries out over the following weeks ensuring the students understand all provided information on day one.

Key Components –

Provides students with information about our schools expectations, policies, including education Queensland course requirements, academic expectations, timetables, all necessary school information and a full school tour.
Offers opportunities for students to connect with each other and build a sense of community
Provides guidance on visa requirements and obligations for international students
Outlines school support systems in place, if needed
Purchasing of school uniforms
Meet and greet with school principal and year level manager
Homestay and travel information
Local area information

Orientation helps reduce anxiety and uncertainty, helping students to feel more comfortable and confident in their new environment. We continue Orientation over the following weeks to help our International students understand and retain the information provided with weekly lunch time meetings.
