We have over 230 staff employed at Urangan SHS, who collectively have dedicated over 1750 years of service to the Urangan community; many of whom have been here since we began delivering education in 1992.
Students are supported by a range of teaching and support professionals, including:
- Four Deputy Principals and one Deputy Principal-Special Education
- Seven Heads of Year, including a Head of Special Education Services
- Seven Curriculum Heads of Department
- Seven Year Level Managers
- Three Guidance Officers
- A School Based Youth Health Nurse
- A School Based Police Officer
- Five Community Education Counsellors, four of whom are employed through our Local Community Education Body (LCEB)
- A Chaplain
- A Social Worker
- A Link and Launch Coordinator
- Two Youth Support Coordinators; and
- More than 30 Teacher Aides
