At Urangan State High School, our School Nurse plays a vital role in supporting student health and wellbeing so every learner can thrive. Working in partnership with students, families and staff, the Nurse provides health advice, early support and referrals to appropriate services when required.
Aligned with our vision of being Curious, Creative and Connected, the School Nurse helps students build knowledge and confidence about their physical and mental health. Through education, guidance and collaboration, the role encourages students to be curious about their wellbeing, creative in finding healthy solutions, and connected to the support networks around them.
By promoting healthy lifestyles, educating about medical conditions and contributing to a safe, inclusive environment, the School Nurse helps ensure wellbeing remains a priority within our school community.
