Ms Young and the Senior General Visual Art students finished their year on an excursion to the Hervey Bay Regional Gallery. We were welcomed with open arms by the wonderful HBRG staff and then taken on a tour by Sarah Thompson, Public Programs and Engagement Officer, of the Bill Henson photography, Hervey Bay Spinners, Weavers and Fibre Artists display, and an exhibition of paintings and ceramics works by Kunmanara Carroll.
It really was a wonderful way to finish a busy few weeks of external exam preparation and, hands down, was the most memorable last lesson ever. I would explain why, but you know, what happens on a Visual Art excursion, stays on a Visual Art excursion!
