A huge congratulations to our HPE Staff members Mr David Robinson and Mrs Kayla Worth, who were awarded Wide Bay School Sport Life Membership. This award is in recognition of their commitment to school sport for our District and Region.
Mr Robinson (Robbo) has been involved in School Sport in the Hervey Bay area since 2000. He has been a coach, convenor and trainer for Wide Bay and Coached Qld Schools Rugby Union (also a Life Member of Queensland Rugby Football Schools Union). This is alongside the countless hours that he has invested into sport here at Urangan SHS.
Mrs Worth has been involved in School Sport at Urangan SHS and Hervey Bay District since 2008. She has been a Wide Bay Coach and Manager for a number of years. Since 2015, Mrs Worth has been the Hervey Bay District School Sport Secretary since 2015. Without her hard work, no students in the Hervey Bay area would have been able to attend a Hervey Bay or Wide Bay trial.
Urangan SHS is very lucky to have these two amazing teachers on staff.
