We need your help! Following our recent School Review, our school is now building our next strategic plan that will guide our school improvement work over the next four years. As part of this, we are considering our Just Cause - a vision for the future of Urangan SHS in our community that can ensure we continue to enable high quality opportunities for “what comes next" for our students.
To ensure that our Just Cause is reflective of where our community wants our school to be heading, we need your help! Your input on four questions (linked in the Quicklinks --->) is valued, and will help us to build the foundations of the school we will continue to aspire towards over the next four years and beyond. The questions are:
- Imagine it is 2027, at the end of our next strategic plan. Please describe what our school will ideally LOOK like: in classrooms? from the road? as you walk around? What do students see? Staff see? Community see? Parents see?
- Imagine it is 2027, at the end of our next strategic plan. Please describe what our school will ideally SOUND like:
in classrooms? as you walk around? in our community? What do students
hear? What do students and/or the community say about our school? Staff?
Community?
- Imagine it is 2027, at the end of our next strategic plan. Please describe what our school will ideally ENABLE: for our students? Our staff? Our community? What opportunities do we want for our stakeholders? Where do our students go? What do they access? What does success look like?
- If you could see one thing change for our school over the next four
years, what would it be? Why? How would you like to see it change?
Your answers can be full sentences, or just a series of words - we are looking to create a wordcloud for each question, to help us pull out the broad themes that our students, community, and staff value to help guide our next steps as a school. We hope you can help us by taking the time to answer one or more of the questions, and have your say in how our school can continue to serve the Urangan community.
