The Year 11 Visual Art in Practice students spent 5 weeks working hard to take part in the worldwide project, Empty Bowl. The Empty Bowl Project raises awareness of hunger in community.
Students set out to design and develop ceramic bowls and sell them at lunch time with fresh pumpkin soup. From creating the bowls, to marketing the project and serving soup on the day, our students did a great job with this initiative!
At $5 a bowl, the students were able to raise $450 on the day. All proceeds were donated to the USHS Breakfast Club to make sure all of our students have a full belly at the start of every day!
Thank you to the staff & students that made a purchase.
