What a wonderful night we had last week celebrating the achievements of
our Instrumental Music students at Gala Night. Performances by Strings
Orchestra, Stage and Concert Band were outstanding, as always, but it was the
surprise performance by USHS alumni that was the real highlight. Band members
from as long ago as 1996 came together to pay tribute to the extraordinary Paul
Brindley who retires at the end of this year.
