Over the last 2 weeks the Year 10 Child Care class has been visiting local child care centres! The staff and children at Busy Bees and Aussie Kindies have kindly made us feel very welcome.
The students enjoyed interacting with the children and gaining an insight the Child Care Industry. Studying this subject prepares students for Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. This 2 year course starts in Semester 2 Year 10 and continues through Year 11 and 12.
It is always
wonderful visiting the local centres and seeing so many of our past students working in the industry, using the qualification they gained whist at school.
We thank the local centres for their support of our subject – without them it would not be possible.
