On Wednesday 12th October USHS held its annual Sports Dinner at the Hervey Bay RSL. A wonderful evening was had by all as all that attended enjoyed a buffet dinner before hearing some encouraging words from guest speaker Jake Packard (Olympic Bronze & Commonwealth Gold Medallist – Swimming). Students were recognised as Age Champions (from school carnivals), Wide Bay Representatives and Best and Fairest (in USHS Sporting Teams).
There were also a range of Special Awards that were recognised on the evening that included:

2022 saw nearly 300 students represent Urangan SHS in sporting endeavours. With 177 students gaining Hervey Bay District selection, 42 Wide Bay selection and 4 Queensland representatives.
Thank you to all the students, parents, staff and organisations (Hervey Bay RSL, Oaks Resort & Spa, Bay Time Engraving, Rebel Sport & Urangan SHS P&C) that helped make the evening a huge success.
