Our new Sports Centre is close to completion and if you have passed by recently, you may have noticed this beautiful artwork featured on the front!
This stunning artwork was created by our very own Year 10 student, Phoebe, as part of the Indigenous Artwork Competition held at the end of 2023.
Phoebe's artwork made it into the top three of the competition and was then announced as the winning piece during the inaugural Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Awards event - well done!
The red, white and grey reflect the school's colours while the Dugongs, Ywang'Kan in Butchulla, represent Urangan. Five circles are featured to symbolise the map of the school and the footprints represent the kangaroos, Guramen in Butchulla, that hop through the school campus.
